CAZA (Carlos Arnaiz Architects) is a Brooklyn-based firm with offices in Columbia and the Philippines. After securing his master's degree at the acclaimed Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a stint as an associate at SAA, Carlos Arnaiz’s went on to establish his own practice in 2010. Since then his team of highly trained design professionals have taken great pride in their forward-thinking architectural approach and informed experimentation. With skills that span writing, architecture, urban design and teaching, it’s no surprise that Arnaiz has a fast-growing portfolio. Ongoing projects include a high-rise in Manila and Frame House, afamily home perched on a slope overlooking the South China Sea in the Philippines.

Ellie Stathaki is the Architecture & Environment Director at Wallpaper*. She trained as an architect at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and studied architectural history at the Bartlett in London. Now an established journalist, she has been a member of the Wallpaper* team since 2006, visiting buildings across the globe and interviewing leading architects such as Tadao Ando and Rem Koolhaas. Ellie has also taken part in judging panels, moderated events, curated shows and contributed in books, such as The Contemporary House (Thames & Hudson, 2018), Glenn Sestig Architecture Diary (2020) and House London (2022).
