John Puttick Associates
Founded in New York in 2014, John Puttick Associates has since relocated to London to manage the refurbishment of Preston Bus Station after winning the competition to upgrade the 1960s brutalist landmark. As well as continuing with projects in the US and China, the firm is now working on two London-based youth centre projects. Describing his work as ‘gently sculptural’, ‘calm’ and ‘pared down’, Puttick sees architecture as an ‘art of construction’ and is interested in the potential offered by engineering the improve the built environment.
