Wallpaper* joins forces with St John for a champagne and doughnuts pop-up during Frieze

With Frieze off to a racing start, there's always a need to stop for some unwinding during the art fair frenzy. Those seeking a little off-site indulgence to pair with their culture binge can head to the Wallpaper* and St John pop-up champagne and doughnut bar at 34 Cork Street in Mayfair.
Over the course of three days, we will be hosting a temporary gourmet hotspot at our 'Construction Sight' exhibition of images by legendary fashion photographer Koto Bolofo, staged to coincide with the release of our mammoth 20th-anniversary issue. Serving up the delectable delights is iconic British restaurant St John, which will offer up classic variations including vanilla custard, chocolate, raspberry jam and lemon curd. Made using a touch of sourdough, the unique sweets are paired with a fine champagne offering.
Art lovers can just drop by and enjoy the culinary goodies with the backdrop of Bolofo's first foray into architectural photography, a four-year project documenting the transformation of Holland Park's former Commonwealth Institute into the new Design Museum.
