Members-only metaverse community The Row unveils digital properties by artists
The Row launches as a virtual community featuring distinctive real estate design by acclaimed creatives including Daniel Arsham, Andrés Reisinger and Misha Kahn
Metaverse real estate development firm Everyrealm teamed up with real estate advisory firm Alexander Team to launch The Row, a members-only virtual community comprising architectural designs by leading creatives, launched by ‘world-building platform’ Mona.
The metaverse community features 30 landmarks, each available as a unique NFT and designed by a roster of creatives that include Misha Kahn, Andrés Reisinger & Alba de la Fuente, Alexis Christodoulou, Six N. Five, and Hard.Architects. Daniel Arsham, who contributed to the project, will also serve as creative ambassador for Everyrealm. Each property is conceived to work across a variety of metaverse platforms within The Row’s district. Membership is by invitation only and will be available after completion of development in late 2022.
‘The metaverse has no physics, no weather, and no limitations other than human ingenuity,’ says Janine Yorio, CEO of Everyrealm. ‘The Row brings together visionary artists best known for their architectural landscapes and collectors seeking a unique, limited edition residence that they can deploy across many different metaverses over time.’
Each creative distilled their design language into the metaverse, creating imaginary houses and pavilions that respond to the unique concept dreamed up by Everyrealm and Alexander Team.
Daniel Arsham’s contribution to the community features modernist architectural forms surmounted by a piece referencing the American artist’s Fictional Archaeology series. Alexis Christodoulou created The Mirage, ‘the metaverse’s first personal levitation centre’, imagined, the 3D artist explains, ‘for one’s enjoyment and spiritual transition into a digital existence.’ A gravity-defying architecture, the structure features an interior that responds to the movements of the sun throughout the day.
For The Row, Misha Kahn’s NFT (a digital house dubbed Quagmire’s Karst) is a folly based on ‘the illogical and irreverent’, inspired by his own ceramic works and exploring how we can define space in a virtual world. Meanwhile, Barcelona-based digital artist Andrés Reisinger created ‘a visual manifesto on the digital form of architecture,’ a minimalist structure surrounded by a forest, ‘that strives to prevent meaninglessness, boredom, existential dread and emptiness.’
Argentinian designer Ezequiel Pini of Six N. Five has been creating virtual worlds through CGI, and his new piece for The Row adapts architecture to nature with an adaptive design. Hard.Architects, pioneers of metaverse architecture, created The Pearl, an elegant, pure structure whose design ‘was fueled by the introspective journey that explores the lust for opulence that resides in self-worth and the need for belonging.’

‘Our clientele collects trophy real estate in the real world, and now we are enabling that same level of curation in the metaverse,’ adds Oren Alexander of The Alexander Team ‘The Row will be the most high profile real estate development across many metaverses, a series of iconic landmarks accessible on a global scale.’
