Fall order: Chanel's bucolic tribute to a walk in the forest
From chestnut and russet to burnt umber, the A/W18 catwalks were laden with shades signalling the end of summer. But it was Karl Lagerfeld who opted for an all-out ode to autumn, erecting a woodland-inspired set at Chanel, lined with oak trees and rustling with fiery foliage. We are branching out with the Parisian maison’s forest-motif ready-to-wear, which sees the spindly veins and blades of leaves printed onto capes, skirts and outerwear. Whimsical wardrobe options for whatever your neck of the woods.
