Emporio Armani A/W 2016
Mood board: Smooth and sporty, the Emporio Armani show gleaned with good looking tweed suits cut into hooded sweatsuit silhouettes and full leg, pleat-front pants cut from denser wools and buttery cashmeres.
Best in show: We admired a super simple track pant with no funny business and matching car coat cut from a simple navy wool. Also noteworthy was the band of skiers and snowboarders charging the runway in helmets, goggles, gloves and padded pants with big skis in hand.
Finishing touches: The lace-up shoe with a claw-like rugged sole is the winter footwear of choice, while the models’ necks were wound with small leather passport-like holders.
