Mood board: Elvis Presley, Daft Punk and Dustin Hoffman mingled with native Americans and Zaha Hadid architecture on Ennio Capasa’s jam-packed mood board for this season's Costume National show. ‘I worked on melting many of the elements that always inspired me, balancing them in a slightly different way to create the cool icons of today,’ the designer explained.

Best in show: Capasa went crazy for fluttering viscose crepe - a truly womanly fabric that brought plenty of feminine swagger to his men's suiting. We especially liked the belted all-business electric blue jacket worn with 1970s flared black trousers that could easily hang in either a women's or man's closet.

Finishing touches: The accessories went earthy this season as the models' necks swung with an Indian chief's booty of bone and leather necklaces, while feet were encased in Capasa's beloved black suede cowboy boots. The futuristic eyewear was a nice touch.
