Scene setting: Milan gallerist Claudio Loria of Leclettico was charged with transforming the Ferragamo show space into a jungle of wild trees and plants. Interspersed amongst the green foliage he placed a 1970s gorilla statue, 1960s lounges and collectible pieces from design goddess Gabriella Crespi.

Best in show: The shirts did all the talking in this show. Incredible intarsias of striped python or suede puzzle pieces created short-sleeved shirts that added a graphic, colourful cool edge under slim suits or with pleat front trousers. The look was super sporty with a great colour palette to boot.

Finishing touches: Claw-soled sandals were worn with everything, while baseball caps in grass green or ochre in clean brushed cotton added pops of colour.
