Dolce & Gabbana A/W 2015
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented a fun-loving winter collection dedicated to mothers around the world
Mood board: Wide-eyed infants, toddlers, pre-teen children and a pregnant model poured onto the runway as Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented a fun-loving, winter collection dedicated to mothers around the world. The clothes featured Dolce & Gabbana's signature 1950s silhouettes and favourite black lace material but all were jazzed up with motherly messaging.
Best in show: Dresses came showered in cursive crystal embroideries spelling out 'I love you Mamma' and 'You are my Queen' in Italian. But the most charming part of the collection was the finale of printed gowns featuring the artwork of children's drawings, in a similar tone as Angelina Jolie's wedding dress last year.
Finishing touches: Aside from the live babies, which were carried liberally, the models also toted along gigantic mink or crocodile bags that came with matching mink or crocodile skirts and were crowned with jewel-crusted and fox-eared earphones that doubled as head bands.
