Oscar de la Renta A/W 2015

Mood board: Peter Copping made a seamless debut as creative director at Oscar de la Renta, creating exactly the kind of buttoned-up, lady-like elegance for which the American designer was known and loved. Whether it was polished skirt suits by day, or explosive gowns for evening, this was a collection for a lady who likes to get dressed.
Best in show: Copping's exquisite fur pieces showed off this designer's former training in Paris. Our favourites were the fox trimmed skirts and the boxy fur coats tufted with feathers.
Finishing touches: Messed up hair may be the trend du jour, but Copping kept his models' heads straightly-laced into lady-like chignons where delicate chandelier earrings subtly swung back and forth.
