Mood board: Sharp shouldered military coats and mannish broken down suiting struck the usual perfect balance at Chloé with floaty, lace-trimmed underthings cut above the knee or bohemian tiered dresses that trailed along the ground hippie-style.
Best in show: The colourful, vintage-looking patchworks were excellent on bouncing knits, like an eye blasting skirt and poncho set, while the same puzzle effect also appeared on sharply-cut corduroy pants.
Finishing touches: Knee boots with the season's ubiquitous block heels had unusual criss cross stitching that laced all the way up the calf, leaving sexy flashes of skin exposed beneath.
