Dark trouser suits and imposing coats, tweed blankets, A-line dresses and bell sleeves combined with mid-high, cone-heeled leather boots, pumps or wedges, conveyed a mature femininity through practical and immaculate pieces.
Set story: Balmy morning light trickled in as models walked the soft red carpet in the Galerie Jules Verne, in the modern building of the national library of the French Republic – a keen contrast to the severe silhouettes in black, blue, brown, ecru and plum.
