Mood board: There was a jaunty, 1960s feel to Michael Kors' autumn/winter 2016 collection. Whether it was the candy-coloured, fluffy fur coats, flirty A-line skirts, floaty feather-embellished dresses or the bevy of herringbone, floral and tweed prints, this was a bold celebration of individuality and freedom, with a very chic attitude to boot.

Finishing touches: The range of accessories, which included chain-handled envelope clutches, studded camera bags, chunky loafers and chain-strapped Mary Janes gave the pretty, flirty outfits a streetwise, rock 'n' roll edge.

Best in show: A slew of simple shift dresses, which boasted seductive cut-outs and circular metal links, followed by knitwear studded with silver ball-bearings, proved that it wasn't all about obvious glamour either.
