Mood board: For his first collection without his former co-creative director David Neville, Marcus Wainwright travelled back to the 1990s, culling some of the decade’s greatest hits for his spring/summer 2017 collection. The offering featured several riffs on the eight ball motif that was prevalent throughout the decade, as well as a simple slip dress and a reinterpretation of the cable-knit v-neck sweater that was also big news then.

Scene setting: Rag & Bone tapped Tem Studio to create a series of rotating futuristic abstract projections around its runway. Thom Yorke composed ‘Coloured Candy’, the show’s title track, while Kris Bones created the finale track, ‘The Tempest’.

Best in show: A trapeze slip dress with multiple floral prints looked easy and comfortable, while Wainwright’s modern update of the sweat suit gave it a chic, contemporary feel.
