Gucci launches new Lifestyle collection
The Florentine house, which celebrates its centenary this year, launches an eclectic Lifestyle offering, ranging from desk objects to games
Post-pandemic, we've been looking to bring boundless exuberance into our lives, cavorting in print and kaleidoscopic colour, and bringing a new brightness to the metaphorical grey clouds that clustered in the wake of Covid-19. Luckily for us, Gucci is also in the mood for energetic maxmimalism, an aesthetic that aligns with the birthday celebrations of the Florentine fashion house, which marks its centenary this year.
This week, Gucci launches a vibrant new Lifestyle collection, which is debuting at September’s Salone del Mobile 2021, with the opening of a pop-up Cartoleria. The eclectic offering, inspired by a cabinet of curiosities, boasts a host of accoutrements for, well, making life a whole lot better. This spans stationery, desk objects, games, sleepwear and travel accessories.
Gucci Lifestyle: poker sets to pyjamas
In the mood for a luxurious night’s sleep? May we direct you to Gucci’s silk pyjamas, emblazoned in signature motifs, from bird-topped tree prints to tessellated retro Gs. Fancy a Gucci-inspired game night? Look to the label’s poker and backgammon sets, dice and playing cards. Keen to overhaul your office space? Get inspired by Gucci’s notebooks, pencil sets, and paperweights, which nod to Disney characters, the label’s monogram and its Herbarium floral print. Fancy some sophisticated accessories for a weekened away? Check out Gucci's neck pillow, garment case and cooling fan.
It's already been a busy birthday year for Gucci. In May 2021, the house reopened its Gucci Garden in Florence, with the debut exhibition ‘Archetypes’, which offered an immersive retrospective look back to creative director Alessandro Michele’s imaginative advertising campaigns for the house. In July, it unveiled the new home of its extensive archive, in Florence’s Palazzo Settimanni.
Keen to get in on the anniversary celebrations too? Look to Gucci Lifestyle for uplifting, everyday accessories, guaranteed to inject glamour and extravagance into your life, for the centenary year and well beyond.

The Gucci Cartoleria is open at Via Manzoni, Milan, from 5 – 17 September 2021. Gucci Lifestyle launches in select boutiques and through the brand’s website from 10 September.
