From Alaïa to Chanel, the S/S 2022 season saw designers propose a high-impact take on summertime attire
A spirit of escape infused the S/S 2022 season, as designers channelled a newly liberated mood with high-impact silhouettes, sleek surface embellishment, and cut-outs, revealing slices of skin beneath – an unashamedly dressed-up proposition for summertime attire.
For Wallpaper’s June issue, Dham Srifuengfung photographs the season’s most escapist looks – styled by Wallpaper* fashion director Jason Hughes – backdropped by the serene landscapes of Amanruya resort in Bodrum, Turkey, the picturesque Aegean port city long synonymous with getting away from it all.
