Fab 40: Camille Lesecq
Definitely the youngest of all new comers, Camille Lesecq has a childlike innocence when you first meet him. Yet, as soon as you’ve set your eyes on one of his sculptural pastries, it’s hard to believe that he hasn’t turned 30 yet.
Since working with star chef Yannick Alleno at Le Meurice, Camille has embarked on a never-ending journey of discovery. Assembling, compressing, sculpting - with Camille pastry is a work of art. Imagine a cubic tarte tatin, a deconstructed millefeuille, or roasted peaches transformed into little pods.
