Café, office and bohemian hideaway merge at &tradition’s new Copenhagen HQ

Design studio &tradition’s new ‘Home of a Collector’ HQ and showroom, located in the heart of Copenhagen, sees the firm settling into a baroque style building dating back to 1913.
Reminiscent of Milan’s 10 Corso Como complex, the HQ also offers visitors with a variety of drink and dining options at The Courtyard, a new café, dreamed up by &tradition’s internal team and creative design agency, All The Way To Paris.
The bijou city oasis merges the polarity of bohemian and minimal aesthetics in a complementary manner. Jaime Hayón’s Formakami pendants put the spotlight on the brand’s contemporary pieces, while herb and tomato plants add a touch of conviviality.
In the kitchen, former Noma chef Søren Westh prepares seasonal fare – think classic Danish smørrebrød to be enjoyed with a selection of South African wines or local Danish beers. To accompany the top-notch food on offer, &tradition will launch a range of picnic bags in August, so visitors can satisfy their food and design cravings all at once.
INFORMATION
The picnic bags will be available from August – October 2018. And then again, May 2019 – October 2019. For more information, visit the &tradtition website
