There may not be 1,000 wines on the list, as the name suggests,  but, with about 400 on offer, thereï¿½s sure to be something for everyone.

Not content with the success of their first Sydney venture, Pizza e Birra, Sabina Buoncompagni, Mauro Marcucci and Khali Khouri have created a dark, sexy bar where wine is accompanied by antipasto-style plates, such as salumi misti and grilled whole baby calamari.
