The Assemblage — New York, USA
In continuing to fuel the global movement for co-working spaces, New York’s The Assemblage has now opened its sophomore location in the city’s financial district, but this time with a 79-room hotel.
Taking its co-living concept to heart, the guestrooms – more like apartments – have been designed for long-term stays with kitchens and smart living rooms that can be transformed into an office or a meeting space.
Local design firm Meyer Davis has imbued a low-key palette of tactile timbers, neutral grey hues, and hints of bronze to soft, curved furnishings and key accents such as stand out pendant lights.
Guests meanwhile will also have access to the brand’s signature amenities and daily programmes, which includes yoga and meditation, various workshops, a Tea Ceremony room, a rooftop, an elixir bar and daily Ayurvedic breakfasts and lunches.
