ROOST East Market — Philadelphia, USA

Since the 2014 opening of its first location in the heart of Philadelphia, Roost Apartment Hotel and its family of design-savvy, extended stay hotel concepts has ruled the, well, roost with its studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments that come fully equipped with kitchens, stylishly curated furnishings, a concierge, housekeeping services and artisanal coffee program to boot.
Its latest location, Roost East Market, pushes the envelope even further with 60 apartments spread over five floors of a newly-built building, designed by Morris Adjmi Architects.
Not only have the architects conceived the well-appointed interiors of this and all of Roost’s properties, it has also helped to create the 20,000 sq ft amenity floor at the new outpost, which has been filled with terraces, community vegetable gardens and grills, a heated lap pool, a fitness centre, and a library, along with the ground floor lobby that boasts a living wall and an inviting lounge. Altogether, it’s a perfect home away from home.
