Pizza 4P’s — Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Pizza 4P's (Platform of Personal Pizza for Peace) might have easily been lost among the slew Japanese sushi and noodle joints on the bustling stretch it sits, but the city's first Japanese-Italian fusion pizzeria is a standout. Run by businessman Yosuke Masuko, the restaurant is a tribute to the 'pizza parties' he hosted in his youth in Japan. The bar, a private wood-panelled dining room and dedicated cheese retail space are designed by local firm 07Beach and include Japanese touches against a subtle Western backdrop. The sushi bar, by contrast, features arched ceilings, marble walls and countertops embellished with mosaics chopped from brightly coloured tiles. The pizzas themselves are equally enticing, made with Japanese-inspired ingredients (tuna, calamari seaweed) and mozzarella sourced from the highland city of Dalat.
