Filming Rams
Wallpaper* and The Barbican to host London premiere of Gary Hustwit's ‘Rams’ documentary
Watch Dieter Rams through the lens of American filmmaker Gary Hustwit, who is currently staging premieres of his eagerly awaited documentary Rams around the globe. It's Hustwit's fourth design documentary – following on from cult hits Helvetica (2007), Objectified (2009) and Urbanized (2011) and its sole focus is the philosophy, work and legacy of the pioneering German industrial designer, accompanied by a soundtrack by Brian Eno.
Wallpaper* is honoured to be partnering with Hustwit for the Berlin and London premieres, which take place on 29 October and 5 November respectively. The Berlin showing of Rams is at The Babylon in Mitte and the London premiere is to be screened at The Barbican in partnership with AKQA, followed by a post-film discussion with Hustwit and special guests moderated by design consultant Tony Chambers.
Wallpaper* caught up with Hustwit to discuss the documentary, which you can read here. Meanwhile we've secured the latest Rams trailer to whet your appetites.
