Atelier Biagetti turns to God and money for its Salone del Mobile installation
First came ‘Body Building’ and ‘No Sex’ The next chapter in Atelier Biagetti’s series of installations highlighting contemporary society's greatest obsessions is titled ‘God’. In this exclusive video, Maria Cristina Didero gives us an introduction to the weird and wonderful world of Laura Baldassari and Alberto Biagetti, in a bonkers shopping channel-style set-up complete with animated emojis.
With the concept of God, Didero ensures that the team ‘does not aim to fuel any theological debate’, but instead delves into the power of money, representing this in an immersive installation that will allow visitors to experience the hope and euphoria associated with fortune. ‘God’ will be on view from 4–9 April at Salone del Mobile in Milan.
